So the family went to Hollis Garden to have some quality time. Two main things happened. The oldest offspring complained about being hungry (what's new). It also just increased my desire for a rose bush.
I ♥ Hollis! Often use it for people photo shoots. Was just there last week. I saw that large-leafed tibouchina, and thought to myself that I really need that. The roses there are incredible. Don't know how they do it, but I know I've tried before, and I'm no rose lady. Cracker roses ('Louis Philippe') only for me.
This was our first trip to Hollis. We had such a great time visiting downtown Lakeland. I am not sure I am brave enough to try the rose growing just yet but soon. :)
I was there the other day...which town are you? the roses are amazing...

ReplyDeleteI so envy any one who can grow a rose. I've tried . . . but I don't have the knack.
ReplyDeleteI love Hollis Garden. I haven't been in nearly a year - perhaps it's time for another visit!
