SAD!
Well it is all pulled up now and waiting on mulch. I took an idea from another website and have newspaper to lay down as weed tarp.

The vegetable garden is label and seeded. We even have a few sprouts! In just a week! Mother Nature has been very kind with the sun and rain.
I am so thankful that my daughter (soon to be 24) doesn't mind pulling weeds for me. I dread the day she spreads her wings and flies.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't the sight of sprouting seeds make you happy? I'm prone to pop a seed in dirt here and there and am always so excited to "find" a surprise weeks later.

The joys of Florida gardening. Yep, I've seen weeds do that. Newspapers are great! I've used them for years. No telling how many hundreds of newspapers make up the soil here. I dont even get the paper, but I beg, borrow, and steal from other people.
